The Maokong Gondola

With a total length of 4.03 kilometers, the Maokong Gondola is the first gondola system in Taipei City. One-way travel time on the gondola is about 30 minutes. The gondola ride includes four stops, namely the Taipei Zoo Station, Taipei Zoo South Station, Zhinan Temple Station, and the Maokong Station.Many visitors specially make the trip here to have tea and chat. Make sure to visit a tea shop and order the famous “Muzha Tieguanyin” or “Wenshan Pouchong tea” when you visit Maokong. The trip will be worth your while when you taste the delicious specialty tea and meal combo, and view the stunning scenery of Taipei Basin.

Zhinan Temple

Zhinan Temple is dedicated to “Chunyang Zushi” Lu Dongbin, officially named “ Fuyou Dijun” in Taoism, but commonly known as “Immortal” or “Luzu.” It is a temple that integrates Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, and is one of the holy places of Taiwan's Taoism. Lu Zu has left behind many miracles and myths, which are worshipped in temples all over the country, and the Zhinan Temple is the most popular one for people to visit. After the opening of the Maokong Gondola, transportation has become even more convenient, and visitors are always welcome.

The Camphor Tree Trail is one of the most distinctive and popular hiking trails in the area, presenting a variety of floral scenes depending on the season, and the trail is smooth and easy to walk along.Zhangshu Trail is one of the popular hiking trails of Maokong. The trail is gentle, suitable for people of all ages to have fun and enjoy scenery. As the seasons, flowers, and crops change, the trail exhibits a diverse and rich appearance, which is worthwhile for the public to come and experience.

Gongguan Shopping District

Gongguan Shopping District neighbors National Taiwan University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National Taiwan Normal University Gongguan Campus. Gongguan Shopping District is situated in the important transportation hub of southern Taipei City, with well- established and convenient public transportation.In addition to a variety of exotic restaurants catering to the tastes of foreign tourists and exchange students, there are also gourmet cafes and famous bubble tea shops in the shopping area. It is close to the Taipei Water Park, Treasure Hill Artist Village, Museum of Drinking Water, and Wellspring Theater, which make the surrounding area full of attractions, good food, and fun.
